Our Start

Girls to Young Ladies (G2YL), Inc began as an idea of founder, Reshone Flanders whose passion is to work with community youth.  Flanders felt this community was in need of an organization for young girls to turn to for support and guidance. As a strong believer in her faith, and building a foundation for three years, Flanders  introduced Girls to Young Ladies to the surrounding communities.  In 2006 G2YL started with five young girls and to date the membership has grown to over 30.  Today the organization continues to grow on blessings and support from the community. The membership continues to increase monthly and with positive interaction with volunteers the girls are transitioning gracefully into young womanhood.
